Delegation from Kishtwar calls on LG

Srinagar, September 5th: A delegation led by Sunil Sharma, former Minister J&K, consisting of representatives of the PRI, people from Paddar and Dachhan in Kishtwar, visited the Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha in Raj Bhavan here on Sunday.
The delegation thanked the LG for the successful installation and introduction of telecommunication services in the Dachhan area. They presented a charter with demands that provided for the rehabilitation of the Honzer Dachhan families affected by the flood, the acceleration of the road construction in the direction of Dachhan, the Degree College Dachhan and the modernization of the health and drinking water supply.
During a patient hearing on site, the Regional Court gave the members of the delegation instructions to the departments concerned to resolve their problems quickly.
The LG also gave instructions to Divisional Commissioner Jammu to develop a comprehensive plan for the rehabilitation of families affected by the flood. He assured the members of the delegation that the government would provide all possible assistance for the rehabilitation of the flood victims and the development of the area.
